Do you sometimes feel that you want to leave all the stuff and go far away where no one knows you and you just want to feel that inner peace and happiness? We all love the feeling of being anonymous in a place we've never been before. A place with no posting, no liking, just living. A place where we can regroup or reinvent ourselves. More social less media.
So, if your wild adventurous mind is telling you that living according to the "norm" is boring. Then, I might have a solution for you. You might want to consider visiting this campsite in Ilaya-San Isidro Rd, San Fernando, Southern Cebu.
Bacalla refers to the surname of the family owning the place. It is a renowned home of artists, environmentalists, explorers, extreme sport athletes, campers, and nature lovers alike. You can't say you've conquered the Queen City of the South if you haven't visited this place.
These are some of the things you can do:

Trekking, Camping, Canyoneering and more.
PAHIBALO: If you want to stay overnight, camping fee is Php 200 per person with breakfast on the next day including the maintenance of the campsite.
Day Use: Php 100 per person

- Drink moderately ayaw pag hinubog brad!
- If ganahan ka mag tipid, you can bring/cook your own food for the rest of the meals with no extra charge. If wala ka nakadala? Di maguol. Naay available sari-sari store just right across the camp.
- You may bring your own tents/hammocks/sleeping bags so you will only pay the basic overnight camping fee
Here's how to get there:

*From South Bus Terminal, ride a CERES bus going to San Fernando (P40 no air-con -60 with air-con bus fare). When you reach Pitalo Church a few meters away, you will be approaching a bridge near Pulchra Resort (left side of the street). The first street on your right is eskina ILAYA or you can tell the konduktor to drop you off at San Isidro kay mas known ang eskina nga San Isidro, Dako, (based on experienced wala ka toltol ang konduktor nga akoang nasakyan kung asa ang eskina Ilaya). Then, ride a (habal-habal) motorbike for Php 90/habal-habal only. The campsite is 7km away from the national highway main road so that's roughly 15-20 minutes. Unahan gamay sa Hidden Paradise.
